Family History Jamboree at the Library today

In celebration of Family History Month and the 40th Anniversary of the Twin Ports Genealogical Society, the Society and the Duluth Public Library present:

Family History Day Jamboree
Saturday, October 15th
11:00 – 4:30
Duluth Public Library – Green Room

This is an opportunity for everyone with an interest in family history research to learn about the resources available through the Duluth Public Library and the Twin Ports Genealogical Society.

On site research will be available during the day, including:

Getting Started resources for beginners
Ask a Genealogist services for those seeking solutions to research roadblocks
Demonstrations of the Library’s genealogical computers and microfilm resources
Demonstrations of the Library’s genealogical historical books and magazines
Demonstrations of options to create family trees and family histories

Echoes of Peace Community Choir will perform songs of immigration and migration

Drawings will be held for multiple door prizes at 4:00 p.m. Need not be present to win.
