Resources

The Library has just begun subscribing to Ancestry Library Edition, a collection of more than 4,000 genealogical databases including over 2 billion names. Ancestry provides U.S. Federal Census images and indexes from 1790 to 1930; a Map Center containing more than 1,000 historical maps; American Genealogical Biographical Index; Daughters of the American Revolution Lineage (over 150 volumes); and World War I Draft Registration Cards. Ancestry is available only on computers in the downtown library and in the Mt. Royal and City Center West branch libraries.
